The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for arcade racing apps in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data provides us with a clear view of how the top contenders in this category have performed on the unified platform, which includes both iOS and Android metrics. Here's a breakdown of their performance.

Pocket Champs PVP Racing Games saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, starting at around $45K and dipping to approximately $34K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 16K in the second week of April but later decreased to about 10K by late June. Weekly active users began strong at nearly 50K but saw a decline to roughly 45K by the quarter's end.

Asphalt 9: Legends, another fan favorite, had its revenue peak at $16K in the second week of April, followed by a general downward trend to just over $10K by the quarter's close. The downloads for the game showed a slight decline from 7K in early April to about 5.7K in late June. Active users started at around 20K and had a slight decrease to approximately 17K.

The performance of Need for Speed No Limits was marked by its revenue starting at $8.4K and ending at $7.5K, with a peak of approximately $9.7K at the end of April. Downloads saw a significant drop from 9.2K to 4.7K, while weekly active users experienced a decline from 37K to 27K throughout the quarter.

CarX Street showed more stability in revenue, starting at about $2.2K and ending slightly lower at $2K, with minor fluctuations in between. Downloads stayed within the 2.2K to 3.3K range, and weekly active users were consistently around 31K to 33K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, CarX Drift Racing 2 had a modest revenue performance, opening the quarter at $1.65K and closing slightly higher at $1.88K. Downloads were fairly consistent, ranging from 1.2K to 1.7K, and active users hovered around the 4.5K to 5.6K mark.
